General Information

CRNFT is a first-of-its-kind platform focused on curated content that is stored immutably on the Ethereum Blockchain. We believe that blockchain technology has the potential to empower creators to lead, collaborate and create with no limits.

In the past twenty years the role of curator has evolved: now there are freelance or independent curators who are not attached to an institution and who have their own idiosyncratic ways of making exhibitions. At CRNFT we invite any curators to propose, exhibit in a wide range of spaces, both within and outside the established gallery system, and online.

The CRNFT NFTs are minted on the ETH. Soon Also Polygon.

Connect your wallet to CRNFT using MetaMask.
Instead of signing up for an account on CRNFT with an email and password, all you need to do is connect your MetaMask. MetaMask is a digital wallet that is specific to Ethereum.

Connect your wallet to CRNFT and make sure you have enough ETH in it to place a bid and pay for gas fees. Go to the artwork page of the NFT you would like to bid on and click “Place a bid.” If you’re the first to place a bid, you must exceed or meet the reserve price set by the creator. If the reserve price has already been met, the next bid must exceed the current bid by 10% . As you are placing the bid, you’ll get an error message if your bid is too low or a confirmation to proceed if your bid is all set.
Confirm the transaction with your wallet and pay a gas fee to complete the process.
When the transaction is completed, the funds will be taken from your wallet and placed in escrow in CRNFT’s smart contract on the Ethereum blockchain. CRNFT is a non-custodial platform, which means we don’t have access to your funds at any point of the process. If you haven’t done so yet, you can add in your email address to receive notifications related to your bids. You can also track the transaction’s status on the Ethereum blockchain by clicking “View on Etherscan.”

Yes. CRNFT’S NFTs can be resold on various marketplaces like opensea, foundation, rarible and more.Enter the wallet address that you'd like to transfer the NFT to. Confirm this is an Ethereum wallet that can accept deposits of NFTs before continuing.
Click the “Continue” button. Your wallet will prompt you to confirm the transaction and pay a gas fee to start the transfer. Track the progress of the transfer on Etherscan. Etherscan is a useful resource to track all transactions on the Ethereum blockchain. It’s free to use and is one of the many ways that Ethereum is making data more open and accessible to all.

“Gas” refers to the fee required to successfully conduct a transaction on Ethereum. This fee goes directly to Ethereum miners who provide the computer power that's necessary to verify transactions and keep the network running; CRNFT does not receive a percentage.
You’ll need to have some ETH in your wallet so that you can pay for gas each time you place a bid, settle an NFT you won in an auction, or transfer an NFT to another wallet.

NFTs are listed on CRNFT in a reserve auction format. Once the reserve price has been met, a 24-hour countdown for the auction begins. If a bid is placed within the last 15 minutes of an auction, the countdown will reset back to 15 minutes. Time extensions can go on indefinitely until no other bids are placed within the last 15 minutes of an auction. You win an auction when you are the highest bidder, the reserve price has been met, and the countdown timer has expired. If your email address is in your profile, you’ll receive an email notifying you that you’ve won. After you win, you will need to settle the NFT to add it to your collection.

After you win an auction, you will need to settle the NFT to add it to your collection and have it appear on your profile. Click “Collectibles” in the upper right section on any page. If you won an auction, select an NFT, Right-click and then “settle your NFT”. Your wallet will prompt you to confirm the transaction and pay a gas fee to complete the process. Wait for the transaction and transfer to complete. Track the status by clicking “View on Etherscan.” Note: Settle your NFT soon after you win an auction. Settling removes the NFT from escrow and transfers it to your wallet. It simultaneously removes the corresponding ETH funds from escrow so they can be transferred to the artist.
